The MRCOOL® DIY Hybrid 55K Multi-Zone Heat Pump System is a high-capacity, professionally balanced comfort solution designed for homeowners who want whole-home performance, zoning flexibility, and true DIY installation—without sacrificing efficiency or long-term reliability.

 

This custom hybrid system combines a 36,000 BTU DIY Hybrid ducted air handler with an 18,000 BTU wall-mounted indoor unit, all powered by the MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation 55,000 BTU Multi-Zone condenser. The result is a powerful and adaptable HVAC system ideal for large homes, additions, basements, open living areas, and spaces that benefit from ducted airflow combined with targeted room-by-room comfort.

 

Thanks to MRCOOL®’s patented DIY® QuickConnect® technology, installation requires no vacuum pump, no refrigerant gauges, and no licensed HVAC contractor.
